The Meeting of South Cave Parish Council Planning Committee took place in the Town Hall, Market Place, South Cave at 7.00pm.

Cllr L. Turner proposed apologies is accepted from Cllr Franks, seconded Cllr Kelly, All in favour.

2070      Tree Applications

(i) 14/03655/TCA

Description of Works: SOUTH CAVE EAST CONSERVATION AREA - Trim back to the boundary approx 2 - 3ft two Conifer trees and take off approx 6 - 8ft off the top due to rapid growth and overhanging the boundary fence.

Cllr L. Turner proposed Parish Council recommend refusal to the application as the Parish Council were surprised a decision appeared to have been already made without the completion of a official application form.  Seconded Cllr Kingdom, All in favour.

(i)14/03214/TPO – Proposal: SOUTH CAVE - 1971 (REF.268) AND SOUTH CAVE CONSERVATION AREA - Fell Sycamore (T1) to reduce the risk of the tall tree blowing over in strong winds and on to the adjacent properties.

(ii) 14/03327/TCA - Proposal: SOUTH CAVE CONSERVATION AREA - Fell Holly tree as the gradual and visually obvious die back indicates the tree limbs may be weak and could collapse and cause damage to the house, garage or pavement area in front of house. (iii) 14/02942/TPO - Proposal: TREE PRESERVATION ORDER - SOUTH CAVE NO.45 - 2011 (REF.1250) - Reduce major Beech tree limbs by 3-5 metres growing towards the house, Reduce limb growing along fence line and crown clean to improve the shape of the tree and reduce the weight of the limbs.

(i)14/03502/PLF – Full Planning Permission Proposal:

 

Construction of bay window to front following removal of conservatory and single storey extension to rear

Location:

25 Southcote Close, South Cave, HU15 2BQ

Applicant:

Mr & Mrs Adcock

                   Cllr Munby proposed the Parish Council raise no objection to the application having no detrimental impact on neighbouring properties of the streetscene, however care should be taken to protect the existing Fir Tree.  Seconded Cllr Kelly, Al in favour.

 

(ii)14/03323/PLF –Full Planning Permission Proposal:

Erection of single storey extension to side

Location:

15 Castle Farm Court, Church Hill, South Cave

Applicant:

Mr Barer

                   Cllr Kingdom proposed the Parish Council recommend refusal to the application due to overdevelopment of the site & therefore the mass is not commensurate with the existing development.  If the East Riding of Yorkshire Council are minded to approve the application, the extension should match the existing fenestration and the glass should be opaque.  Seconded Cllr Barnett, Vote 9 in favour, 1 against.

 

(iii)14/03074/PLF- Full Planning permission

(ELLERKER PARISH)

Proposal:

 

 

Erection of meeting hall and associated parking

Location:

Land to the North of Mount Airey House, Brough Road, HU15 2DA

Applicant:

The Inglemire Gospel Hall Trust

                   The Parish Council submitted no comment to the East Riding of Yorkshire Council due to the development being within a neighbouring Parish and noted Ellerker Parish Councils response to the application.

 

(iv)14/02944/PLF- Full Planning permission Proposal:

Erection of 1no: dwelling with associated vehicular access (AMENDED PLANS)

Land South Of 83 Beverley Road, South Cave

Applicant:

Mr N Cutts

                   Cllr L. Turner proposed the Parish Council recommend refusal to the application as previous objections have not been addressed: due to the building not being in keeping with other properties within the vicinity,  the inappropriate over development and massing of the site, its close proximity to the road and neighbouring properties.   The detrimental light impact on the bungalow to the North (Number 83).   Seconded Cllr Barnett, All in favour.
