South Cave Parish Council

Planning Meeting 4th March 2013

 

The Meeting of South Cave Parish Council Planning Committee took place in the Town Hall, Market Place, South Cave at 7.00pm.

 

Present:           Cllrs Barnett (Chair), Batemen, Kelly, Warren, M. Turner, L. Turner, Lenton, Munby, & Kingdom

Clerk - Mrs L Fielding

                       

Cllr Barnett welcomed Cllr Warren to the Parish Council .

                       

1920    Apologies for absence

Cllr L. Turner proposed apologies be accepted from Cllr Hardy, Seconded Cllr Kelly, All in favour.

 

1921    Approval of Previous Planning Meeting Minutes (4th February 2013)

Cllr Kelly proposed that the minutes of the 4th February 2013 be approved and entered into the records as a true and accurate record.  Seconded Cllr Bateman, All in favour.   

           

1922   Declarations of Interest

           (i)There were no declaration of interest

(ii)There were no dispensations given to any member of the council in respect of items on the agenda items.

 

1923    Current Plans to consider

(i)13/00261/PLF – Erection of Owl Conservation Centre with separate facility block and creation of Falconry at Rudstone Walk, West Hill, South Cave for Mr Tony O’Brien

Application Type – Full Planning Permission

Cllr L. Turner proposed the Parish Council raise no objection to the application as the proposed development would be compatible with the area.  The Parish Council have requested, if the ERYC are minded to approve the application, additional signage be limited and remain in keeping with the area, as this is already a location with high levels of road side signage.  Seconded Cllr Lenton, All in favour.

(ii)13/00415/OUT – Erection of a dwelling and construction of a means of vehicular access at Land North of 51 Little Wold Lane, South Cave for Fiona Palmer, Katrina Gale, Jane Adams and Trevor Maxilwa

Application Type: Outline Planning Permission

Cllr Lenton proposed the Parish Council raise no objection to the application as the proposed development will have no detrimental impact on neighbouring properties or the streetscene.  Seconded Cllr Munby, All in favour.

 

1924    Planning Decisions

 (i)12/03689/PLF – Alternations to roof to create first floor office space and change of use of ground floor to offices (A2) and coffee shop (A3) at Jonathan Forman Architects, 54 West End, South Cave for Mr J Forman – Approved (REF)

The Parish Council requested Clerk contact the ERYC to express the Parish Councils concerns with the acceptance of this application due to the continuity of previous decisions reached on similar applications for this property.

(ii)12/05008/PLF – Erection of detached garage with adjoining physiotherapy and rehabilitation room at Glebe House, 22 Station Road, South Cave for Mrs Southcott – Approved (No Obj)

The Parish Council noted the decisions made by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council.

 

1925    Tree Decisions

(i) TPO SOUTH CAVE 1971 (REF.268) AND SOUTH CAVE EAST CONSERVATION AREA - Fell Prunus located in rear of garden - showing signs of stress and signs of bacterial canker on lower to mid stem at Silvertrees 23 Castle Drive South Cave East Riding Of Yorkshire HU15 2ES for Mrs J. Buxton

Approved (No Obj)

The Parish Council noted the decisions made by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
