Planning Meeting 3rd October 2011

 

The Meeting of South Cave Parish Council Planning Committee took place in the Town Hall, Market Place, South Cave at 7.00pm.

 

Present:            Cllrs Harrison, L. Turner, Manley, Kingdom, Phillips and Lenton

1792    Apologies for absence

Cllr Manley proposed apologies be accepted from Cllrs M Turner, Kelly, Munby Seconded Cllr Phillips, All in favour.

 

1793    Approval of Previous Planning Meeting Minutes (5th September 2011)

Cllr Kingdom proposed that the minutes of the 5th September 2011 be approved and entered into the records as a true and accurate record, Seconded Cllr Lenton, All in favour.

 

1794   Declarations of Interest

There were no Declarations of interest.

 

1795    Current Plans to consider

(i)11/04113/PAD – Display of free standing ‘V’ Shaped directional sign at junction A1034 and B1230 to serve Farm Shop and Tea Room at Land  North of Kettlethope Hill, South Cave for Mr C Taylor – Consent to display an Advertisement

Cllr Phillips proposed the Parish Council raise no objection to the proposal as it has no adverse effect on the neighbouring properties or the streetscene, Seconded Cllr Lenton, All in favour.

(ii)11/03991/PLF – Erection of single storey extension to rear at 27 Church Street, South Cave for Mr Mike Metcalf – Full Planning Permission

Cllr Lenton proposed the Parish Council raise no objection to the proposal as it has no adverse effect on the neighbouring properties or the streetscene, Seconded Cllr Manley, All in favour.

(iii)11/03740/PLF – Erection of a detached garage following of existing garage at 6 Middle Garth Drive, South Cave for Mrs Davidson – Full Planning Permission

Cllr Phillips proposed the Parish Council raise no objection to the proposal as it has no adverse effect on the neighbouring properties or the streetscene, Seconded Cllr Kingdom, All in favour.

(i)DC/11/02277/WESTES/TR – Erection of a single storey extension to rear AMENDED PLANS at Wheels 42 Station road, South Cave for Mr & Mrs Horsley – Approved (No Obj)

(ii)DC/11/03499/PLF – Erection of a dormer extension to rear at 2 Rawdale Close, South Cave for Mr David Proctor – Approved (No Obj)  

(iii)DC/11/03479/PLF – Erection of conservatory to rear at 21 Castle Drive, South Cave for Mr John Gray – Approved (No Obj)

(iv)DC/11/03273/PLF – Erection of two storey extension to rear following demolition of existing at The Forge, 65 Church Street, South Cave for Mr & Mrs Cameron – Approved (No Obj)

(v)DC/11/03491/PLF – Erection of two storey and single storey extension to rear and erection of detached triple garage/store/gymnasium at Castle View, Church Hill, South Cave for Mr S. Walker – Approved with Conditions (No Obj)

The Parish Council noted the decisions made by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council

 

1797    Trees Decisions

(i)11/02890/TPO – Application to work on trees(s) protected by the Tree Preservation Order at 14 The Limes, South Cave for – Refusal of the proposed crown lift to 5m. 

Approved – To cut back low tertiary branches in order to lift the crown over the public highway by no more than 3m above ground level.  (REF recommend trimmed as noted Approved by ERYC)

The Parish Council noted the decisions made by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council

 

1798    Correspondence   

(i) To note letter of support received from the South Cave and Recreational Committee relating to proposed planning application for Mr Wilson, Bacchus Lane, South Cave.  Planning application not yet received.

The Parish Council deferred this matter until the respective application is received.
