Planning Committee took place in the Town Hall, Market Place, South Cave at 7.00pm.

1783 Approval
of Previous Planning Meeting Minutes (13th August 2011)
Cllr Manley proposed
that the minutes of the 13th August 2011 be approved and entered
into the records as a true and accurate record with one minor amendment to
minute number 1773: apologies received from Cllr Kingdom, Seconded Cllr Kelly, All
in favour.

Erection of dormer extension to rear at 2 Rawdale Close, South Cave for Mr
David Proctor. Full Planning Permission
Cllr M. Turner
proposed the Parish Council raise no objection to the proposal as it has no
adverse effect on the neighbouring properties or the streetscene. Seconded Cllr Munby, All in favour.
(ii)11/03491/PLF
Erection of two storey and single storey extension to rear and erection of
detached triple garage/store/gymnasium at Castle View, Church Hill, South Cave
for Mr S. Walker. Full Planning Permission.
Cllr Munby
proposed the Parish Council raise no objection to the proposal as it has no
adverse effect on the neighbouring properties or the streetscene. Seconded Cllr Manley, All in favour.
(iii)11/02864/PLF
Erection of dwelling and construction of temporary access for construction
vehicles and temporary materials store at Land South East of 72 Beverley Road,
South Cave for Mrs Eileen Christmas.
Full Planning Permission. & consider objection correspondence
received from neighbouring property.
The Parish
Council noted the objections received.
Cllr Munby proposed the Parish Council raise no objection the proposal,
but raise concerns with the East Riding of Yorkshire Council regarding the
current brick built garage, not noted on the plans and may need demolishing, to
ensure the building remains within the Building Limits and raise attention to
the possible damage to the Hedge and Tree which carries a TPO. Seconded Cllr Barnett, vote 4 for, 3 against
(including Cllr L. Turner), 1 abstention.

The Parish Council noted the decisions made by
the East Riding of Yorkshire Council

Planning Appeals
(i)DC/10/04335/STPLF Erection of No5 buildings
for business (B1), General Industrial (B2) and storage/Distribution (B8)
purposes with associated access and parking following demolition of existing
buildings Minute Ref: 1729 (ii), Noted: The Parish Council raise no
objection and support this proposal. The
Parish Council would, however, like to see included in the plans cycle parking
and cycle storage facilities on the site.
The Parish Council
noted the appeal.

Application to carry out works to trees protected by a Tree Preservation
Order at 38 West End, South Cave for Historic Restorations Ltd.
Cllr Kingdom
proposed the Parish Council refuse permission for the application as the trees
form part of the previous plan, which is currently ongoing. Seconded Cllr Kelly, All in favour.
(ii)11/03840/TPO
Application to carry out works to trees protected by a tree preservation
order at 57 Castle Drive, South Cave for Mrs Holmes.
Cllr Kingdom
proposed the Parish Council refuse the application and requires clarification
on the applicant address prior to any further decisions being made. Seconded Cllr L. Turner, All in favour.
(iii)11/03574/TCA
Notification to carry out works to trees in a conservation area at 21 Bull
Pasture, South Cave for Mr R. Thompson.
Cllr L. Turner
proposed the Parish Council object in principle to the application based on
insufficient information being received. The Parish Council requires a plan of
the trees and raises awareness to the East Riding of Yorkshire Council the
application is within the conservation area.
Seconded Cllr Kelly, All in Favour.

limb damage.

(i)To note letter
received from resident relating to planning applications: DC/10/01908/PLF &
DC/08/02957. Cllr Harrison proposed the
Parish Council refer the matter to the Cheif Legal Officer at the East Riding
of Yorkshire council for advice on the covenant. Seconded Cllr Munby, All in Favour.
(ii)The
Council noted the update received relating to Mount Airey Airstrip.
(iii)The
Council noted update received relating to 2 Jobsons Close, South Cave.
(iv)The
Council noted the copy letter received from U3A from ERYC relating to 38 West
End, South Cave.
