The Meeting of South Cave Parish Council took place in
the Town Hall, Market Place, South Cave commencing at 7:00pm.

Ward Councillor Tony Galbraith:
It is proposed that there will be fewer domestic
warden workers in service and will be making the wardens mobile, the private sector
will still have the Bronze, Silver and Gold services available.
The
LDF has changed slightly with South Cave Parish Council looking at no change in
the figure, Brough has received a increase of 800. North Ferriby & Swanland have now been
included as a Hinderland Village.
Ward Councillor Pat Smith: The South Hunsley School catchment area is proposed to remain as it
currently stands.

October 2011
Cllr
Munby proposed that the minutes of the 17th October be approved and
entered into records, as a true and accurate record, Seconded Cllr Barnet, Vote:
8 for, 2 abstentions.

38 West End Clerk updated the Council on the current
status and advised the ERYC have confirmed a planning application will be
required prior to demolition of the building.

(i)The Parish Council noted the November 2011Clerks
Report.

(i)The Parish Council noted the Village Taskforce Pilot Initiative Satisfaction Survey and suggested any comments be made to the Clerk to complete appropriately.
(ii)The Parish Council noted the Temporary Road Closure Castle Drive & Wesley Close.
(iii)The Parish Council noted the ERYC Core Strategy Draft Further Consultation Questionnaire reply.
(iv)The Parish Council noted the Fox & Coney Menu for Christmas Lunch
(v)The Parish Council noted the letter received from resident relating to Footpath on Annie Med Lane. Cllr L. Turner proposed the matter be forwarded to the ERYC Highways Department for consideration. Seconded Cllr Phillips, Vote 9 for, 1 abstention.
(iv)The Parish Council noted the South Cave Preservation Society Management Committee Minutes.

Kingdom proposed that these items be paid on the grounds of sound financial
management of the Parish Council, Seconded Cllr Munby, All in favour.
(ii)The Parish Council considered the purchase of winter maintenance tools. Cllr Barnett proposed the Parish Council purchase x3 snow shovels to be stored at The Town Hall. Seconded Cllr Kelly, All in favour.
(iii)The Parish council noted David Walker, Internal Auditor increase in fees and considered comparison fees received. Cllr Lenton proposed the Parish Council accept the increase and remain with David Walker, after considering the comparison quotations received being of higher amounts and the length of time David Walker has been conducting the Parish Council Audit. Seconded Cllr Manley, All in favour.
(iv)The Parish Council considered the purchase of three additional village entrance signs. Cllr L. Turner proposed the Clerk obtain the pricing for the installation of the signs. Seconded Cllr Kelly, All in favour.
(v)The Parish Council consider the Grass Removal prices received for the cemetery. Cllr Barnett proposed the Parish Council arrange for the three piles of grass to be removed by Jake Ellerker. Seconded Cllr Munby, Vote 9 for, 1 abstention.
(vi)The Parish Council noted receipt of ERYC precept submission form 2012/2013
(vii)The Parish Council noted the letter received from Samuel Jobsons Charity relating to a donation and requested further financial information in order for the matter to be considered.
(viii)The Parish Council Considered s137 Grant Application for South Cave Playgroup. Cllr Lenton proposed the Parish Council donate £250.00 to the South Cave Playgroup, Seconded Cllr Kelly, All in favour.
