| 4740106 | Approval of Previous Meeting's Minutes
Cllr Marsh proposed that the minutes of the meeting of 12 December, be approved
with a slight amendment, and entered into records, as a true and accurate record,
seconded Cllr Mrs Manley, All in favour.

| 4760106 | Police Matters
- PC Bagley reported that there had been 13 crimes reported, including three burglaries,
two assaults, three criminal damage, and two thefts from motor vehicles. The targets for thefts
from motor vehicles are now the sat/nav systems. Reports were submitted regarding a path of vandalism
that had taken place on Saturday 14th January, including damage and road signs being knocked down.
Cllr Scott proposed a formal vote of thanks to PC Bagley for his support for the community,
seconded Cllr Mrs Binns, All in favour.
- Councillors noted the Safe Communities East Riding Local Delivery Group meeting to be held on
23 January 2006 at South Hunsley Youth Club at 7:00pm, which unfortunately clashes with a Parish
Council meeting, Cllr Marsh proposed that apologies be sent and that a request be made
for information coming out of the meeting to ensure the Council is kept up to date,
seconded Cllr Marsh, All in favour.
- Councillors noted YHA Information Note on Police Reform and considered a letter from the
Humberside Police Authority regarding restructuring. Further information and consultation is awaited,
a letter of acknowledgement is to be sent, and a request to be contacted further.
- The Council noted Hunsley Police Authority Neighbourhood Panel, 2 February, 2006 at South Cave
Primary School 7:00pm, Cllr Turner is to attend on behalf of the Council.

to fulfil the functions of this Parish Council, seconded Cllr Harrison,
vote: 7 in favour, 1 abstention 1 against.

- Councillors noted the South Cave Preservation Society Management Committee Meeting Minutes of
6 December 2005 and 4 January 2006
- The Council considered attendance at the RAF Civic Reception at the War Memorial Hall, Beverley,
26 January 2006 at 7:00pm.
- Councillors considered the reply from TENYAS regarding the proposed restructuring of the
ambulance service. Cllr Scott proposed that a letter be sent to the Strategic Health Authority,
registering the council's concerns and advising that further comments will be put forward
in due course, seconded Cllr Turner, All in favour.
- Councillors considered submission for the Chairman's Awards for Enhancing the East Riding of
Yorkshire Council. Mr Norman Elliott is to be put forward for the Well-Being award, proposed
Cllr Mrs Binns, seconded Cllr Turner, All in favour, and the Cave Castle extension is to be put
forward in the built heritage award, proposed Cllr Mann, seconded Cllr Harrison, vote: 8 in favour 1
abstention. A further submission is to be put on the agenda for the next meeting of Councillors,
in the interests of obtaining further information, proposed Cllr Mann, seconded Cllr Marsh,
All in favour.

- The Council noted, with regret, the resignation as Vice Chair of Cllr Harrison. Cllr Mann
proposed Cllr Mrs Manley as the Vice Chair, seconded Cllr Mrs Binns, there were no other nominations,

- The Council noted the ERNLLCA District Committee meeting to be held on 18 January 2006 at the
Family Centre, South Cave, in the interests of keeping up to date with information,
and a chance to network with other Councils, Cllr Mann will attend the meeting.
- In the interests of increasing the knowledge base of Council and a further advisory
support source, Cllr Mann proposed that the Clerk's membership of the SLCC should be renewed
at a cost of £134:00, seconded Cllr Marsh, All in favour.
