(iv)DC/10/01948/PLF/WESTES Full Planning Permission
Erection of dwelling at Lane North of 91 Beverley Road, South Cave
for Mr & Mrs I Holbrook.
This item was moved
forward on the Agenda to be discussed first and the meeting was closed
at 7.40pm for members of the public to address the Parish Council
with objections and in
support. The meeting
reconvened at 7.45pm.
In view of information received by the Parish Council from the
Agent for this application, Mr
Christopher Kendall, that Amended Plans
for this application are being submitted to ERYC, Cllr
M Turner proposed that the Parish Council recommend refusal of
this application due to height,
massing and dominance. There is a concern over the differing
levels, the proposed dwelling is
larger than the already approved
dwelling and the North West elevation Hall/Landing window
overlooks Plot 2. The Parish Council did not want to comment
on the information received at
the meeting relating to the amendment until this has been
officially received from ERYC,
Seconded Cllr Munby, Vote: 5 for,
2 against.

(i)DC/10/01903/PLF/WESTES Full Planning Permission
Erection of two storey and first floor extension to side, single
storey extension to rear and side at
60 Castle Rise, South Cave
for Mr & Mrs Howley.
Cllr Marsh proposed that the Parish Council recommend refusal of
this application due to the
scale, massing and dominance and consider the proposal as
overdevelopment. There will be an
impact on the Street Scene and neighbouring properties,
particularly the bungalow to the rear of
the property, Seconded
Cllr Kelly, All in favour.
(ii)DC/10/01873//PLF/WESTES Full Planning Permission
Erection of conservatory to rear following demolition of existing at
Meadowcroft, 9 Castle Drive, South Cave for Mr & Mrs Dewar.
Cllr Marsh proposed that the Parish Council raise no objection to the
proposal as it has no adverse effect on the property, the neighbouring
properties, the street scene or the conservation area, Seconded Cllr Barnett,
All in favour.
(iii)DC/10/01880/PLF/WESTES Full Planning Permission
Erection of extension to the rear at Mountain Grey Farm, 24A Station
Road, South Cave for Mr & Mrs A Wilkinson.
Cllr Kelly proposed that the Parish Council raise no objection to the
proposal as it has no adverse effect on the property, the neighbouring
properties, the street scene or the conservation area, Seconded Cllr Marsh, All
in favour.
(v)DC/10/02066/PLF/WESTES Full Planning Permission
Erection of 2 no. dwellings at Land South of 38 West End, South Cave for
Historic Restorations Ltd.
Cllr Marsh proposed that the Parish Council recommend refusal of this
application due to
overdevelopment of the site, massing, dominance and loss of privacy to
neighbouring properties
to the South in West Hall Garth (land falls to the South and is
approximately 6ft lower) and to
the West in Appleton Gardens due to the height of the proposed properties
(3 floors). The
Design and Access statement says that there are no outstanding natural,
water features within
the site, but still does not take into account the Beck to the South of
the development, which is a
locally known area for flooding properties in West Hall Garth and the
removal of the green soak
away land resulting in an increase in surface water run off remains a
concern. The access for
traffic onto the public highway is still a major issue, there is already
a visibility problem for
residents in Appleton Gardens due to the on street parking and this
further development will
only add to the problems and dangerous situations being experienced in
this area, Seconded Cllr
M Turner, All in favour.
1691 Trees
(i)App
No. 10/60067/TPO Oak Tree - Crown lift and reduce limb growing over garage,
deadwood and thin crown by 25% at 7 The Stray, South Cave.

Barnett proposed that the Parish Council raise no objection to the proposed
works to improve the shape of the tree and permit more light, Seconded Cllr
Kelly, Vote: 5 for, 2 against,

meeting was closed at 8.20pm for members of the public to address the
Committee. The meeting reconvened at
