The Meeting of South Cave Parish Council Planning
Committee took place in the Town Hall, Market Place, South Cave at 7.00pm.
Present: Cllrs M Turner, L Turner, Kelly,
Manley, Harrison (Chairman), Munby, Marsh and Barnett,

Cllr Manley proposed apologies be accepted from Cllr
Lenton and Cllr Jamieson seconded Cllr Kelly, All in favour.
There were no Declarations of

1605 Decisions made by East Riding of Yorkshire Council
(i)DC/09/01502/PLF/WESTES 68 The
Stray, South Cave AWC (NObj)
1606 Current Plans to consider
(i)DC/09/01596/PLF/WESTES Full Planning Permission
Erection of single storey extension to the rear at 45 Bridge Road, South
Cave for Mr A McLearie. Cllr Turner
proposed that the Parish Council raise no objection as it has no adverse effect
on the property, neighbouring properties, street scene or conservation area, seconded
Cllr Marsh, All in favour.
(ii)DC/09/02194/PLF/WESTES Full Planning Permission
Erection of 1 no. Dwelling to rear and new garage to 45 West End
following demolition of existing outbuilding (Re-submission of 08/03181/PLF) at
45 West End, South Cave for Mr Akam.
Cllr Marsh proposed that whilst the Parish Council raise no objection to
the development itself as it has no adverse effect on the property, strong
reservations were raised regarding the access, shared drive and possible flood
risk. We would also like to refer to
the previous ERYC concerns about the possible damage and detrimental impact,
health and stability on existing and adjacent trees within the Conservation
Area and would mention that some trees appear to have already been removed, Seconded
Cllr Manley, vote: 6 in favour, 2 against.
1607 Trees
(i)App
No. 6490 (TPO) prune a tree at 72 Beverley Road, South Cave.
Cllr
Marsh proposed that the Parish Council raise no objection to the work, but
would request that the light pruning work is sympathetically done by a
reputable tree surgeon to leave the tree with as much of its visual amenity
value intact, Seconded Cllr M Turner, vote: 7 in favour, 1 against.
(ii)App
No. 6496 (s211) prune trees at 16 Church Street, South Cave.
Cllr
Barnett proposed that the Parish Council raise no objection to the proposal on
the grounds of good tree husbandry, Seconded Cllr Marsh, All in favour.
(iii)
App No. 6510 (S211) - fell and prune trees at 72 Church Street, South Cave.
Cllr Marsh proposed that the Parish
Council refer the decision for the pruning and felling to the East Riding Tree
Officer for his professional decision, Seconded Cllr M Turner, vote: 7 in
favour, 1 abstention.

Cave permission granted with conditions.
