The Planning Meeting of South Cave Parish Council
took place in the Town Hall, Market Place, South Cave at 7.00pm.

Cllr Mrs Manley proposed that apologies for absence
be accepted from Cllr Harrison, seconded Cllr Mrs Barnett, All in favour.

The minutes of the meeting
of 3rd December 2007 were signed, as a true and correct record
proposed Cllr Marsh, seconded Cllr Lenton, All in favour.
Cllr Mann declared a
prejudicial interest in Minute Reference 1472(v) due to friendship and a
personal interest in Minute Reference: 1472(i) due to acquaintanceship
Cllr Scott declared a
prejudicial interest in Minute Reference: 1472(v) due to friendship
(i)Councillors
noted the Planning Inspectorate decision on appeal 38 Northfield Close, South
Cave appeal allowed.
(ii)Councillors considered the document The Validation of planning
applications: proposed local list of Information requirements. Cllr Turner
proposed that if there were any further comments to be made, other than
welcoming the document, then these should be presented to the Clerk by 16th
January, and that authority to respond accordingly was delegated to the Clerk,
seconded Cllr Mrs Manley, All in favour.

(i)DC/07/07372/PLF/WESTES Full Planning Permission
Erection of 1 dwelling and creation of vehicular access at Wold View, 49 Little Wold Lane, South Cave for A Sawyer & Co Ltd. Cllr Mrs Manley proposed that the Parish Council raise no objection as the application has no adverse effect on the property, neighbouring properties or the street scene; however, the Council were surprised and disappointed to see that the current validation process for applications would allow the acceptance of this site plan that is probably no less than 25 years out of date, it does not show the large housing development (The Stray) Initialled
.immediately abutting the application site on two sides, which may have an impact on the planning decision, seconded Cllr Scott, vote: 5 in favour 3 against.
(ii)DC/07/07473/PLF/WESTES Full Planning Permission
Erection of single storey extension to rear following demolition of
existing at 9 The Meadows, South Cave for Mr and Mrs Brogden Cllr Scott
proposed that the Parish Council had no objection to this application as it has
no adverse effect on the property, amenity of neighbouring properties or the
street scene, seconded Cllr Marsh, All in favour.
(iii)DC/07/07549/PLF/WESTES Full Planning Permission
Erection of cattery and repositioning of existing pens following demolition of existing cattery at Hull Animal Welfare Trust Centre, Pinfold, South Cave for Hull Animal Welfare Trust. Cllr Mrs Barnett proposed that the Parish Council raise no objection to the application as it has no adverse effect on the property, neighbouring properties or the street scene; concerns were raised regarding the floor levels, as it is understood that this area was flooded during the event in June 2007, seconded Cllr Marsh, All in favour.
(iv)In the interests of clarity and transparency, Cllr Mrs Manley
proposed the ratification of decision regarding DC/07/06657 Reserved Matters at
Mires Beck Nursery discussed on Tuesday 8th January 2008, seconded
Cllr Lenton, vote: 7 in favour 1 abstention
Cllrs Mann and Scott declared a prejudicial interest in the following
item and left the meeting for this item
(v)The Committee considered amended plans to DC/07/00856/ - Sands Lane Nursery. Cllr Marsh proposed that The Parish Council considers that the area of concern it raised in its previous comments regarding this proposal has been addressed, and therefore would raise no further objections, seconded Cllr Mrs Manley, All in favour.
