Planning Meeting 2nd April 2007
The Planning Meeting of South Cave Parish Council took place in the Town Hall, Market Place, South Cave at 7.00pm.
Present: Cllrs Mann, Lenton, Harrison, Marsh, Hardy, Turner (from 7:10pm), Mrs Manley (Chair)

Cllr Mann proposed that apologies be accepted from Cllrs Scott, Wright, Mrs Binns and Mrs Barnett seconded Cllr Lenton, All in favour.
The minutes
of the meeting of 5th March 2007 were signed as a true and correct
record proposed Cllr Mrs Manley, seconded Cllr Marsh, All in favour.
Cllr Hardy declared a Personal interest in minute reference 1395(iv) due to parents being neighbours of the applicant; a prejudicial interest in minute reference 1395(ii) due to parent working on site of application; a personal interest in minute reference 1396(ii) as neighbours of the property.
Cllr Mann declared a prejudicial interest in minute reference 1395(i) due to being members of the same organisation
Cllr Turner declared a personal interest in minute reference 1395(i) due to previously doing volunteer work with the applicant.
(i)The Council considered two letters from residents of Rawdale Close,
South Cave regarding the new development on Trinity Fold. The Clerk is to write
to the Local Planning Authority to ascertain if the plans were amended after
planning permission was given, a copy of the letter to be sent to the residents
concerns, and a copy to Rt Hon D Davis MP; a site visit is to be arranged for
at least two councillors to attend, proposed Cllr Harrison, seconded Cllr
Marsh, All in favour.

Cllr Mann declared a
prejudicial interest and left the meeting for the following item. Cllr Turner
declared a personal interest.

Permission
Erection of single storey extensions to side
to include solar panels at front (amended plans) at 19 Rawdale Close, South
Cave for Mr J Bolton (one objection received). Cllr Hardy proposed that the
Parish Council raises no objection to the application as it had no adverse
effect on the property, neighbouring properties or the street scene, seconded
Cllr Marsh, All in favour.
Cllr Hardy declared a prejudicial interest
and left the meeting for the following item.

Erection of single storey extension to rear
at 48 West End, South Cave for Mr and Mrs Wordsworth. Cllr Lenton proposed that
the Parish Council raise no objection to the application as it has no adverse
effect on the property, neighbouring properties or the street scene, or the
character and appearance of the Conservation Area, seconded Cllr Marsh, All in
favour.
(iii)DC/07/00993/PLF/WESTES Full Planning
Permission
Erection of two storey extension at rear
following demolition of existing single storey buildings at Mole Lodge, Common
Road, South Cave for Capt J Little and Mrs Little. Cllr Marsh proposed that the
Parish Council raises no objection to the application as it has no adverse
effect on the property, neighbouring properties or the street scene, seconded
Cllr Lenton, All in favour.
Cllr Hardy declared a personal interest in
the following item.
(iv)DC/07/01319/PLF/WESTES Full Planning
Permission
Erection of single storey extension at rear
following demolition of existing conservatory at 32 Station Road, South Cave
for Mr and Mrs N Hardy. Cllr Turner proposed that the Parish Council raises no
objection to the application as it has no adverse effect on the property,
neighbouring properties or the street scene, and no adverse effect on the character
and appearance of the Conservation Area, seconded Cllr Marsh, All in favour.
Application:
(i)App No. 5173(S211) fell a sycamore tree at the junction of frontage of Trinity Fold (Plot 1) and 12 Beverley Road. Cllr Marsh proposed that the Parish Council recommend refusal of this application on the grounds that the tree is of high visual amenity within the Conservation Area, and can be managed through good arboricultural practices; as this tree appears under threat, it is to be recommended that it be made subject of a Tree Preservation Order as soon as possible; and concerns were also raised as to whose tree it actually belongs to, seconded Cllr Mann, All in favour.
Decision:
(ii)App No. 5095 (s211) fell a tree at
Cravens, East Lodge Ride, South Cave permission granted (replacement
requested)
