Planning Meeting 2nd June 2008

 

The Meeting of South Cave Parish Council Planning Committee took place in the Town Hall, Market Place, South Cave at 7.00pm.

 

Present:            Cllrs Turner, Marsh, Harrison (Chairman), and Mrs Turner

                        Mrs K Richmond – Clerk

                       

1507  Apologies for absence

Cllr Marsh proposed that apologies for absence be accepted from Cllrs Kelly, Scott, Lenton, Wright, Mrs Barnett and Mrs Manley, seconded Cllr Mrs Turner, All in favour.

 

1508   Approval of Previous Meetings’ Minutes (12th May and 20th May 2008)

Cllr Marsh proposed that the minutes of the previous meetings should be approved and accepted as a true record, seconded Cllr Mrs Turner, All in favour.

 

1509   Declarations of Interest

There were no declarations of interest.

 

1510           Decisions made by East Riding of Yorkshire Council

          (i)DC/08/01502/PLF – 60 Castle Drive, South Cave – AWC (NObj)

          (ii)DC/08/01034/PLF – 91 Beverley Road, South Cave – R (R)

          (iii)DC/08/01244/PLF – 30 West End, South Cave – R (NObj)

 

1511 Current Plans to consider

(i)DC/08/02111/PLF/WESTES – Full Planning Permission

    Erection of a single storey extension to side and rear (amended Plans) at Drewton Stray, Station Road, South Cave for Mr Butcher. Cllr Marsh proposed that the same comments be forwarded as for the previous/initial application, with regard to maintaining the direct link between the principal dwelling and the extension, seconded Cllr Mrs Turner, All in favour.
 

1512   Trees

Decisions

            (i)App No 5763 (s211) – prune trees at 13 Station Road – permission granted.

      Applications

(i)App No. 5928 (s211) – fell a tree at 26 Wold View, South Cave. Cllr Marsh proposed that as there were no reasons put forward for the work, the application should be considered not valid, and therefore ask that the Tree Officer visit the site, as it is understood some work has already been undertaken to the tree, seconded Cllr Harrison, all in favour.

 

1513  Consultation

(i)The Committee considered the East Riding of Yorkshire Council Local Development Framework – Issues and Options – document available on line or to view at the Parish Council office. Cllr Marsh proposed that the responses be sent to the appropriate authority in due course, seconded Cllr Mrs Turner, All in favour. A copy of the response is attached.
