Planning Meeting 26th June 2006
The Planning Meeting of South Cave Parish Council took place in the Town Hall, Market Place, South Cave at 7.00pm.
Present: Cllrs Scott, Turner, Mann, Harrison, Lenton, Mrs Manley(Chair), Mrs Barnett and Mrs Binns

There were no apologies received.
The minutes
of the meeting of 5th June 2006 were signed as a true and correct
record proposed Cllr Mrs Manley, seconded Cllr Mrs Binns, All in favour.

(i)DC/06/00635/PLF – Change of use
To allow hot food take away from existing tearoom at 43A Market Place –
Refused.
Cllr Harrison proposed that a response be sent to the resident advising
that the Parish Council had advertised the agenda for the Parish Council
meeting at the appropriate time, and that no objections had been received from
residents, seconded Cllr Mann, All in favour.

Erection of dwelling and refurbishment of existing barn to form a
dwelling following demolition of existing dwelling at Sheepdyke Farm, Common
Road, South Cave – Approved with conditions.

Erection of a single storey extension at rear at 49 Annie Med Lane, South
Cave – Approved with conditions

Erection of new dwelling, alteration to existing garage, construction of
vehicular access and erection of wall following demolition of single storey

Erection of a dwelling at land south of 8 First Lane, South Cave –
Approved with conditions
(i)DC/06/03761/PLF/WESTES – Full Planning Permission
Erection of conservatory to rear following demolition of existing
conservatory at 4 Hedley Close, South Cave for Executors of R S Nicholls. Cllr
Scott proposed that the Parish Council raise no objection as the
application has no adverse effect on the property, neighbouring properties or
the street scene, and has no adverse effect on the character and appearance of
the Conservation Area, but would suggest a condition regarding the retention
and maintenance of the screening hedge, seconded Cllr Mrs Binns, All in favour.
(ii)DC/06/03775/PLF/WESTES – Full Planning Permission
Erection of a single storey extension to rear and porch to front at 27 Northfield Close, South Cave for Mr and Mrs C French. Cllr Mann proposed that the Parish Council raise no objection to the application as it has no adverse effect on the property, neighbouring properties or the street scene, seconded Cllr Scott, All in favour.
(iii)DC/06/04034/PLF/WESTES – Full Planning Permission
Erection of a single storey office extension (resubmission of 06/01034/PLF) at Westbridge Homes Ltd, Annie Med Lane, South Cave for Westbridge Homes Ltd. (1 letter of objection received). Cllr Scott proposed that the Parish Council recommend refusal of this application, as the proposed development is forward of the building line, has an adverse effect, through dominance of the neighbouring property and the street scene and that there is also the potential for loss of parking which is becoming a problem in this area, seconded Cllr Lenton, All in favour.

prune trees at 23 The Parklands, South Cave – permission granted.
1320 Other Parish Council matters
(i)After meeting with a representative of the
Humber & Wolds RCC, Cllr Harrison proposed that, this offer of
participation in the apprenticeship scheme be not taken up at this time, as it
had not been budgeted for, and there insufficient facilities at this time,
seconded Cllr Mann, vote: 7 in favour 1 against.
