Planning Meeting 30th October 2006

 

The Planning Meeting of South Cave Parish Council took place in the Town Hall, Market Place, South Cave at 7.00pm.

 

Present:            Cllrs Turner, Mann, Wright, Scott, Lenton, Hardy and Mrs Manley (Chair)

                        Mrs K Richmond – Clerk

                       

 

1345  Apologies for absence

Cllr Mrs Manley proposed that apologies be accepted from Cllrs Harrison and Mrs Binns, seconded Cllr Turner, All in favour.

 

1346   Approval of Previous Meeting's Minutes

The minutes of the meeting of 25th September 2006 were signed as a true and correct record proposed Cllr Lenton, seconded Cllr Turner, All in favour.

 

1347   Declarations of Interest

           There were no declarations of interest made.

           

1348    Consultation documents

(i)Councillors considered the Council’s response to the Smaller Settlements Document – Preferred Options, whilst reiterating its previous comments; supporting development within the Hull City Council area, as detailed in the RSS and the JSP;  proposing that any further development in South Cave,  be in the category of affordable housing, Cllr Mann proposed that the full document be read, with comments passed to the Clerk as soon as possible for completion of the questionnaire, seconded Cllr Scott, All in favour.

(ii)The Council considered its response to Transport Development Plan Document, Cllr Wright proposed that the Council’s answers to the questions posed should be forwarded, broadly in support of the document, with some additions and amendments, seconded Cllr Lenton, All in favour.

(i)DC/06/06790/PLF/WESTES – Full Planning Permission

Erection of a single storey extension to side of existing garage at 1 Church Hill, South Cave for Mr Harrison. Cllr Lenton proposed that no objections be raised, subject to a condition for a tree protection scheme during construction, as the application has no adverse effect on the property, neighbouring properties or the street scene, seconded Cllr Mann, All in favour.

(ii)DC/06/07080/PLF/WESTES – Full Planning Permission

Erection of conservatory to side at 47 Water Lane, South Cave for Mrs Binks. Cllr Turner proposed that the Parish Council raise no objection as the application has no adverse effect on the property, neighbouring properties or the street scene, seconded Cllr Wright, All in favour.

 

1351    Trees

Decisions:

(i)App. No.  4829 – fells trees at 1 Church Hill, South Cave – permission granted.

(ii)App. No. 4788 – Pollard a tree at 6 Appleton Gardens – Permission granted.
