Planning Meeting 3rd July 2007
The Planning Meeting of South Cave Parish Council took place in the Town Hall, Market Place, South Cave at 7.30pm.

Cllr Mann proposed that apologies for absence be accepted from Cllrs Marsh and Lenton, seconded Cllr Mrs Turner, All in favour.
The minutes
of the meeting of 11th June 2007 were signed, with slight
amendments, as a true and correct record proposed Cllr Scott, seconded Cllr
Wright, All in favour.
There were no declarations of interest.
(i)Councillors noted the letter from Planning Enforcement regarding land
east of 30 Market Place, and in the interests of full information, the Clerk is
to confirm or obtain the plans that were actually approved at the time and
bring the matter back before Council.

Construction of two dormer windows in roof at front at 72 Beverley Road, South Cave for Mr and Mrs Christmas. Cllr Mrs Manley proposed that the Parish Council recommend refusal, as the proposed dormers have an adverse effect on the property, neighbouring properties and the street scene, and the Council also has concerns over design, with the proportion of the dormers being inconsistent with existing fenestration, seconded Cllr Mrs Turner, All in favour.

Permission
Erection of a conservatory to the rear at 2
Castle Rise, South Cave for Mrs Phillips. Cllr Scott proposed that the parish
Council raise no objection as the application has no adverse effect on the
property, neighbouring properties or the street scene, seconded Cllr Mann, Cllr
Wright proposed an addition to the resolution in that the application would
also have no adverse effect on the character and appearance of the Conservation
Area, seconded Cllr Turner, vote: All in favour. Vote on the substantive
motion, all in favour.
(iii)DC/07/03759/PLF/WESTES Crown
Development
Erection of 1.8m satellite antenna dish at Everthorpe Borstal, Beck Road, North Cave for the Home Office. Cllr Harrison proposed that the Parish Council raise no objection as the application has no adverse effect on the property, neighbouring properties or the street scene, seconded Cllr Mann, All in favour.
(i)Application 5367(S211) prune a tree at 53 Church Street, South Cave. Cllr Mann proposed that the Parish Council would raise no objection to judicial pruning of the tree in consultation with the ERYC Tree Officer, as it is not easily visible from public areas, and would have no adverse effect on the character and appearance of the Conservation Area, seconded Cllr Wright, All in favour.
(ii)Decision 5321 fell trees at 5 Brough Road, South Cave refused
(iii)Councillors noted the group TPO on trees
at 5 Brough Road, South Cave
