Meeting to consider rescission of resolution made on 14th January 2008

Full Planning Permission
Mr Leonard and Mr Leafe addressed the meeting objecting to the following
application
Erection of 1 dwelling and creation of vehicular access at Wold View, 49 Little Wold Lane, South Cave for A Sawyer & Co Ltd. Cllr Turner proposed that the recommendation be rescinded as the Parish Council was in possession of further information, and that the Parish Council now recommend refusal of this application, on the grounds of dominance, due to adjacent buildings being bungalows, and the existing land levels; too close to the boundary with mature trees on the boundary; and concerns regarding the access onto Little Wold Lane, seconded Cllr Mann, vote: 8 in favour 1 abstention.

(i)DC/08/00119/PLF/WESTES Full Planning Permission
Erection of single storey and two storey extension to rear at 9 Northfield Close, South Cave for Mr and Mrs Best. Cllr Harrison proposed that the Parish Council recommend refusal, as it is considered an overdevelopment of the site; overshadowing, massing and dominance over adjacent properties; there is already a problem with flooding in this area, and this application

would exacerbate the problem, therefore, the application would have an adverse effect on the property itself, neighbouring properties and the street scene, seconded Cllr Scott, All in favour.
Cllr Lenton declared a prejudicial interest in the following item and
left the meeting for the
discussion and vote.
Cllr Turner declared a personal
interest in the following item.
(ii)DC/08/00189/PLF/WESTES Full Planning Permission
Erection of a single storey extension to rear at 38 Bridge Road, South Cave for Mr and Mrs Lenton. Cllr Scott proposed that the Parish Council raise no objection to the application as it has no adverse effect on the property, neighbouring properties or the street scene, and had no adverse effect on the character and appearance of the Conservation Area, seconded Cllr Kelly, All in favour.

Other Tree Matters
(i)In the interests of maintaining the tree
stock in this sensitive location, Cllr Mann proposed that a request be made for
a TPO to be placed on a tree at 39 Beverley Road, South Cave, seconded Cllr
Harrison, All in favour.
