(i)DC/0705895/PLF/WESTES Full Planning Permission
Installation of 2 no. solar panels to front at 17 Station Road, South Cave for Mr Marshall. Cllr Harrison proposed that the Parish Council raise no objection as the application has no adverse effect on the property, neighbouring properties or the street scene, and also has no adverse effect on the character and appearance of the Conservation Area, seconded Cllr Kelly, All in favour.
Applications:
(i)App no. 5603 (S211) remove trees at 62 Church Street, South Cave. Cllr Harrison proposed that the Parish Council recommend refusal, as the trees give a positive contribution to the Conservation Area, as they are visible from public areas. However, a more favourable approach would be to see the retention of these trees but with judicious pruning, seconded Cllr Wright, vote: 7 in favour 2 abstentions.
Initialled
. (ii)App No. 5599 (S211) fell a tree at 3 Castle Drive, South Cave. Cllr Harrison proposed that the Parish Council would advise that this tree forms part of the tree belt that has a positive contribution to the Conservation Area and the village, as stated in the Village Design Statement, so the Council would like to see the retention of these trees unless adequately determined that it is dead, dying or dangerous, or by its felling it would give greater benefit to other tree stock. In the absence of being able to gain access to the applicants back garden, and whilst the tree (as part of the group) is visible from public areas, we would defer to the decision of the ERYC Tree
Officer in this matter, and that
clarification be sought regarding the TPO, seconded Cllr Kelly, All in favour.
